I've a (mostly) white polydactyly cat (with double thumbs on the front and extra toes on the back).

Her favourite play thing is....🤭baby mice.

She doesn't actually hurt them though. Instead she has this peculiar habit of basically collecting them as if they're like her kittens or something.
😄No joke. Frankly it's mildly annoying because during spring/summer each year I regularly have to deal with waking up to find anywhere between 1 to half a dozen tiny little baby mice scurrying around in the house which she's spent the night collecting from the neighbours chook house.

Although it is kinda humourous seeing how she treats them. I mean, she's astonishingly gentle with them. Almost like she really thinks they're her kittens.
